Technology plays an ever-increasing role in our lives as well as those of our children. Today, Internet resources, social media, as well as electronic communications of all forms, have become a de facto staple of every day activities for our students.
Canyon Creek Christian Academy recognizes the vital role that technology contributes, as a component of instruction. Just as it is a key component in our everyday lives, from getting the latest news, to the latest schedule of events, students today are experts at using all forms of technological resources.
CCCA has invested substantially in all areas of technology to make it a critical learning tool in everyday instruction. We expect every teacher to utilize new and creative tools, available on the advanced Apple, Inc., hardware and software, to facilitate instruction, presentation, and collaboration as well to effectively communicate.
We believe that the benefits to effectively use technology begin by making those resources available to teacher and student alike. CCCA initiated an aggressive 1 to 1 program in the fall of 2008, providing every teacher an Apple MacBook. Students are encouraged to participate in our 1 to 1 program, utilizing the advanced hardware and software that the Apple, Inc., Systems provide.
Students not only receive instruction utilizing various forms of electronic media, but they are asked to use productivity tools and creative tools to express themselves. As a result, a successful 1 to 1 program is measured by student productivity in the learning process.
