Honor Societies


National Junior Honor Society-8th-10th grade
 

National Honor Society-10th-12th grade

Membership in the CCCA Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society and the National Honor Society is highly selective.  Candidates are selected in the spring, based on the following criteria:

  • Prospective member must have a cumulative average of 90.
  • Teacher evaluations must indicate that the student is above average in character, leadership, and service.
  • Student must present a recommendation from a non-family adult.
  • Student must not have been suspended nor have received more than 2 detentions in a school year.

Once a student meets the requirements, he/she is inducted as a member of the respective honor society.  Once inducted, members attend monthly meetings and participate in individual and school-wide service projects.
