Academic Competitions


Canyon Creek Christian Academy students participate in TAPPS Academic Competition in the spring.  High School students may compete in the following categories:

  4. Duet Acting
  5. Literary Criticism
  6. Mathematics
  7. Newspaper
  8. Number Sense
  9. Original Oratory
  10. Persuasive Speaking
  11. Poetry Interpretation
  12. Prose Interpretation
  13. Ready and Writing
  14. Science
  15. Social Studies
  16. Solo Acting
  17. Spanish
  18. Spelling
  19. Yearbook

Canyon Creek Christian Academy students participate in ACSI Academic Competitions.  Students in 1st through 8th grades may compete in the following categories:

1st - 8th graders may compete in Speech.

3rd - 8th graders may compete in the Spelling Bee* and Math Olympics.

     *Spelling Bee competitors have the opportunity to advance to the National level.

6th graders may compete in the Science Fair.
